Advertising
service_advertising.gif Magazines, Newspapers, Flyers, Email campaigns....all mediums short of carrier pigeons. If you need to sell it, I'll build the vehicle to do it.

exhibit.jpg When I take on an advertising job, it's not really all that important that I understand the product or service. What I think is important is that you get people looking at your Ad. A lot of people tend to to cram as much information as they can into the space they have available. Doing this doesn't make for an appealing Ad and people will simply not stop to look at it, let alone read it.

So it's all about capturing the viewers eye. They flick through the newspaper, the magazine, whatever. They aren't looking for your Ad. In fact they aren't looking for anyones Ad. So we have to make them find it.

A catchy headline. An impactful picture. Clear space. Yes that's right. How many times have you seen a large Ad with lots of clear space and a very simply concise message. Ask yourself, do you read those ones. You probably do.

Well I like to take that very simple approach. It's like fishing. You need to get them interested in your worm, and once they nibble, you reel them in. Your Ad should have a call to action. Do they: A) ring you, B) go to your website, or C) visit you instore. That's where you can bombard them with information, because they have come to you.
